Before the final chatbot, there were several discussions on what the bot should do. Originally I wanted users to order their Nandos by talking to Ayam (which means chicken by the way).

Chatbots, although not new, were having a surge of a comeback with Facebook officially releasing their API to communicate through Messenger.

As with all ideas that do what others haven’t ventured into yet, we worked with the client to finalise the details, with something that would test the waters and push the boundaries.

Surffice to say – Ayam was a huge hit with the fans!
